(Okay guys here are the latest posts from the RP.)
tasha1107: Nanami looked at Ayana as she seemed not only uncomfortable but also upset at Tomoe's words. "Love is a give and take. You cannot be the only one who is giving love and not receiving any," she said in a low tone. She did not say too loudly because she did not want to seem as if she was offending the princess but rather just helping her understand what love is like or should be like for someone as sweet as her. Nanami looked over at Ayana and could see that she was unwell and suffering from malnutrition. As a healer, it was obvious that she has been starving to death. It was as if her body was made of bones with nothing but skin as her clothes. "Hey why don't we go down to the kitchen," she stopped the frail princess and her seemingly friendly saber. "I'm sure we have food to your liking my mother and the cooks prepared a meal earlier. Besides you look like you could use some food to help ease your emotions." Nanami smiled at Ayana for she did not see an enemy or a deranged princess, but a person who was in need of a sincere friend (which she could tell was Sahi but she was hoping she be one too).
Meanwhile in the throne room
"A mother never forgets her own child's face," Yori said as she placed her hand on Taka's check and smiled ad him. She studied him and the utter confusion all over his face. Of course he wouldn't remember and it would make sense that the memories he had up until now could have been more than an illusion concocted by the wizard who had taken him. Tsubasa could sense Yori's uneasiness as it was a difficult subject to talk about seeing as how she had been separated from her son for you years. He also chuckled to himself when he could sense that Taka felt no resemblance with them. But of course he would think seeing as the king has never removed his helmet since he took the throne.
As the king and queen continued to stumble on how to tell Taka about that day, Tomoe walked up. "Yes," he replied to Taka's question. "You wanted to learn about archery so badly from Kira and I so I made a personalized bow for you." Tomoe had sat down on the stairs on the throne platform, gazing at the floor. "It had been two days after mother announced that she was carrying Nanami. Instead of attending the party like we were instructed, we tricked the caretakers into taking us out for archery practice. While we were there, we met some strange men draped in a long robe that covered his face. He calmed he was a traveler and was looking for a place to rest." Tomoe paused. "Like the innocent children that we are, we invited him back to the castle with us. He stayed with us for awhile, you and Kira took a liking to him very much. It was almost like he was fixated on you two and you two to him. It was the final night of festival. Everyone was dancing and carrying on when one of the noble's fell ill from some type of magic or curse placed on him. The people fell into panic and utter chaos had spread. During the commotion mother was able to get to Kira and I, but when we went to find you-"
"The stranger had ran off with you and I ran after him. But at the time I could get to you with the people running and screaming because not only did a noble fall ill but a multitude of people had been attacked the same way," Tsubasa cut in, with regret and sadness on his face. "THere was some many people and I could not get to you in time. You needed me to save you and I could not reach. I spent 7 years looking for you but to no luck. I did not wish to but I started to give up hope. It was as if you had disappeared off the face of the earth." He hung his head down in shame. "I am a king who is meant to protect my kingdom, but as a father I could not protect my own child. Though one has return another has been lost. And for that I sincerely apologize to you both."
Meanwhile, inside the small tent located in Oddler's camp
Darklight laid himself down on the opposite side.of the tent. He watched as the healer began to tend to Kira's wounds. He also heard the guards gathering outside the tent. In truth Darklight would just take off with Kira the minute she was well. But it seems that this time might be slightly different. He laid his down and sighed. To Darklight, should anything happen to Kira he would blame himself for notprotecting her. After all it was her who found him when he was but a cub and she has become than just his rider. She is like his best friend. The large wolf began to doze off, the adrenaline of having chased after Kira when she was tossed over the balcony has finally died down and npw his body begged for sleep.
While Darklight slept, Kira was still uncnciousness. However so.ething was off, her wounds were healing themselves. Not rapidly but at a pace in which would allow her to survive. Though the healing process was the only ability that has seemed to appear since her supposed death. It felt there was more to come.
Meanwhile, inside Kira's mind
"Where....where am I?" Kira questioned as she woke up in pitch black darkness. "How did I-"
"Kira," a familiar voice shouted out to her. As she turned in the direction the voice came from, there stood none other than Syrius. "You can't be here. This is not fair."
"Syrius," Kira had tears fill her eyes. She did not care about what he was saying, all she cared about was seeing him. As she walked towards him to touch him, he placed his hands in front of her and backed away from her. "Syrius, what's wrong? Why won't you let me touch you?"
"Kira," Syrius sighed as he put his hands down and stared into the eyes of the girl he loved. "You have no idea how much I want to hug and kiss you right now. I am literally fighting with myself to even settle with this distance between but you cannot touch me."
"Why?" Kira yelled. "Where am I?"
"You're...Kira you're dead," he replied sadly. "But your spirit is not completely separated from your body. So I guess you could say you're in limbo."
"No, that is impossible I was in Axle's castle and...and..," Kira said as she began remembering what happened.
"He stabbed you with your own sword and threw you off the balcony into the sea," Syrius hesitated to go on. "I watched it... and yet I could not save you. Even though you were not calling my name, I still...I still wanted to come to you but I couldn't."
"But if I am dead, then that means," Kira looked at Syrius and smiled. "We can be together. Not in the way we want to but we can be together now."
"No," he refused. "You are partially still alive and if I touch you right now. You will be bind here. Besides that stupid Necromancer is looking for you."
"Coda? He is looking for? I wonder why" Kira questioned herself. "They told me if I called for him he would save me. But he did not so why would he go looking for. What could he really be after." As she stood there pondering her thoughts, Syrius watched her.
"Kira if you come with me, you cannot go back," Syrius stated. He held his hand out to her. "If there is nothing holding back in the world of the living, then take my hand and come with me."
Kira looked at Syrius and then at his hand. She was hesitant about taking it. She stretched out her trembling hand but pulled it back out of worry. Syrius smiled sincerely at her as if trying to reassure her that everything is okay. He knew if he smiled at her like that she would not hesitate or waver. Kira slowly stretched out her towards Syrius.
Meanwhile, at Axle's castle
"Your trap failed Masa," Axle shouted as his subjects stood before him. "I pulled men from the that stronghold barrier because you told me that once that trap had succeeded I would not need them. So, Masa.....TELL ME WHY IT FAILED!!!!" Though Masa was injured, Axle had used his power and slammed Masa into the ground. "Honestly, you people have one job and should you do it right, everyone wins in the end." He released Masa and sat upon his throne. "I will say this to you all now and only once, do not fail me again." Axle waved his hand and dismissed everyone. "Humph, one good thing came out of it. Their warrior has been killed and now the castle is one throne short." He laughed manically, "Soon the battle that decides who will win this drawn out fight will come and when it does it will end with every Ushia and Erie bowing down to me one way or the other."

DaneUzuma: Every word that was said, every sentence that was completed...
Made every moment a little harder for Taka to bare.
Taka began to tear up. He didn't know why, but his emotions got the better of him. He had never known love, it was always something he considered to be destined for "others". But he now knew, he had a family. A family that cared for his well being. A brother who made him his very own bow and a father who fought to his last breath to find him. What else was there to say?
Taka truly believed he would be able to contain himself to some degree, but when Tsubasa walked up to him and apologized, he burst.
"No!" He bellowed
"Don't apologize!" He quickly smacked his father's arm and smiled as tears slide down his cheeks.
"You did your best! It was my fault anyway!" He then turned to Tomoe and gave him a nod.
"Our fault.."
Swiftly his attention was directed to Yori. With a quick motion Taka embraced Yori.
He had never been so emotional in his life. But all of this, all of what had happened, had put a part of Taka into motion that had not been active in a long time. Taka soon afterwards recomposed himself and wiped the tears off his face.
"Sorry about that...I don't usually get emotional.." He was a little embarrassed, he felt that showing himself like this could be seen as a sign of weakness. Which wasn't the best first impression after years of being apart.
"You said this man-"
"This wizard" he added approaching Tomoe and sitting beside him.
"Was interested in me and Kira?"
This part had interested him somewhat, it was no surprise a sinister man would want to lay his hands on Kira (considering the incredible strength she posses). But why did he want Taka?
"You're not gonna start saying that me and Kira are alike now are you?" He joked grinning widely. ======================================================================
Pip: At the mention of kitchen her stomach gave an audible growl. She swayed slightly as a wave of exhaustion hit her. She did not think she could eat after what had happened, “N-no…Axle says a true queen should only have two meals a day. I shall partake in food once supper has been served. Please have them bring me a sliver of bread and cheese along with a small glass of wine.” She said, straightening her spine and hiding her trembling hands in her sleeves.
Sahi, though, was over joyed at the thought of food. She mewed (in the way all big cats do) and licked Nanami’s cheek. Ayana smiled, she could not deny the saber anything even if she, herself, must stick to a strict diet. With a sigh she relented.
“Alright, take me to your kitchen so that Sahi, and Sahi alone, may receive food and drink. She likes lamb quarters if you have any. While I am there I might as well use one of her servants to send word to my father of my…predicament. Would that be alright with you, your highness?” she asked, a sense of her stubbornness showing through even her exhaustion.

Ross: Despite his knowledge of the medical arts, Marcus had a hard time accepting the fact he had to partake in a bit of bed rest. As he laid there in a room he couldn't help but to feel uneasy, and a bit awkward. The knight was so use to living a lifestyle that always kept him busy and allowed for little or no downtime.
"Gaaaah!" Marcus screamed out of aggravation. The man had spent two hours reading, and the last four looking at the ceiling. "Nope, I can't do this." He proclaimed to the empty room tossing his covers to the side. As he stood despite his wounds being healed with magic, his body still felt weak and tended to ache here and there. As he changed out of his night clothing, and after accepting the fact his body in this state couldn't bare his normal attire of plate armor he settled for something a bit more causal.
"Sir! Shouldn't you be resting?" A young squire said, who was assigned with another who happened to be sleeping in a chair next to his door. Marcus merely looked at the young man with a soft smile.
"I'm fine, I just need to walk around a bit. Uh, so, if anyone comes to checkup on me, let them know I'm just going to check on our guest." The young knight merely shook his head in agreement not really knowing what else to do beside allow him to go.
Marcus tended to avoid the night portals knowing that if they saw him he's most likely be strong armed back to his room. So in some cases he ended up taking a longer route, but he didn't mind it gave him time to think.
His mind raced to the woman he engaged in combat, and how he hopped she survived. The idea of her being dead made Marcus sick, and made his heart heavy with guilt. When it came to Kira, the man was overcome with rage, and guilt. Oh, how he had failed once more in his duty to protect her, and the royal family.
As Marcus came to Coda's room he heard some chatter from within. Marcus couldn't make out a single word, but once it seemed to have died down, he took a deep breath and knocked three times before saying.
"Hello! This is Marcus Flint, permission to enter?"

Chewy: When the smoke had cleared Mizaki couldn't believe her eyes at what she had just seen. The Necromancer wasn't just able to break Masa's trap, but he was also able to transport himself and the others he had come with back to safety. He gritted her teeth and narrowed her eyes at the spot where the Necromancer once stood. Her eye fled to Axle when he started to speak. He more so yelled at them, but that was besides the point in Mizaki's mind. Her thoughts were clearly upon the battle that had just ended.
Those other warriors she had never seen before had a strange tactics in fighting. They didn't do much when Axle had gone and kidnapped Kira, but when they shrouded themselves in darkness... She was a dark warrior, thus giving her the sight in darkness. Her mind replayed their moves and attacks, she had never in her life witnessed such brutality.
She quickly turned to watch Masa get slammed into the ground by her kings' powers. She frowned softly as Masa slowly and pitifully got to his feet. "My king, I can not tell you how sorry I am that I have failed you... But I can try again... The reason why the trap didn't work was because the Necromancer is at a much higher level than I anticipated. If I can find out just how powerful he is I can create a trap powerful enough to capture him." He stated.
Mizuki wasn't so sure about trapping the Necromancer any more. In her eyes something as strong as him should be killed off. She frowned even more so when Shin had made his way over to them. She had witnessed the assassin take hold of the Necromancer sometime during the battle. She could tell his true intentions were to kill the monster that controlled the dead. "My king! We should not waist our time on the demon. We should have killed them all when we had the chance. The group that attacked us today is a threat to your crown... Even Ayanna and her beast. We should eliminate them before they try to attack us again, and if Masa is right that the Necromancer is stronger than he looks than he should be the first to go. Without him they wont have an undead army." Mizaki agreed with Shin's words and only turned to her king for his reason.

Coda had finally calmed down and was able to fall asleep not long before Marcus knocked on their door. They had all agreed to keep the fact that Kira was still alive a secret. They needed the element of surprise for their future battles. Okami was attending to Coda making sure his fever stayed down while Seng and Nora had already began to pack for their journey. They all looked to one another when they heard the knock.
Okami grunted a bit, "What do they want now?" His words sounded a bit bitter as he wasn't happy about the condition Coda was in. Nora shot Okami a look as Seng approached the door. He slowly opened it to find the young warrior. He blinked as he was a little surprised to see him of all people. He nodded and let the other into the room before closing the door.
"And what do we owe for this honor?" he asked as he walked back to his bed where his gear was laid out. Nora looked Marcus over before she went back to her packing. Okami kept his back towards the door and merely kept his eyes on Coda as he slept. Out of all of them Seng seemed like the only one that would be willing to talk for the time being as they all seemed like something was on their minds.

tasha1107: Nanami smiled as Ayana had finally agreed to come with her. "Don't worry," she said as she petted Sahi. "You will love the food we made." Typically a person would not just freely touch other people's pets because they are wary of their initial reaction to strangers. But to Nanami all guardian pets were just doing their jobs even when she gets bit she still never learns her lesson. She guided the princess and her saber to the glorious double doored kitchen. "Mom made pork, soup, fired potatoes, and her famous cheese pasta."
Meanwhile, in the throne room
"You guys are not exactly alike," Tomoe answered as he looked up at Taka. "You guys were inseperable. But of course you two were close. After the incident she completely forced herself to forget about you because she could not handle the distress. Basically how she is now is how she was when you were taken. If Syruis had not come into the picture then she wouldn't have been the same. Well at least until he died and she got back to square one." Tomoe laughed when reminiscing back on the memotries of them. "If Kira were here we could go back to the way things were. I'm sure we still can but it won't be the same with a piece missing."
"Tomoe is right," Tsubasa chimmed in. "But we will have grieve later. I plan to have your correnation earlier than expected." Just as he said this two royal chairs were brought in. "This war does not seem like it will pass so easily. And I am not getting any younger. So I feel that it is time to we crown you."
"But why four chairs dear?" Yori questioned as she watched the workers place them jn their place.
"Because we had pushed to have all our children rule together. Therefore though Kira is no longer here, I still feel we should at least honor her."
Meanwhile at Axle's castle
"If you fail me again," Axle said to Masa. "I will have your very head on a stake. Do I make myself clear Masa?!" Axle had seated himself back in his throne. The look of anger and irritation was all over his face. He did not have time for such nonsense. He was to rule the land soon but with the Ushia Kingdom putting up such a fight. It would take him longer.
"Send word to the Ushia kindgom," he commanded a messenger. "Tell them that I officially declare war on them. And in 7 days time we will have our final battle." The messenger left the throne room as quickly as his feet could carry him. He knew his king did not like to keep waiting and if he had not returned within 48 hours with a reply, then he was as good as dead.
"As for Ayana and her saber," Axle stated to Shin. "They are now consider our enemies. I do not have time to waste with that girl whose body is obviously in no condition to bear me heirs. After all that and her powers was the only reason I kept her alive." Axle sat on his throne and scanned the room. He thought over Shin's remark and nodded. "Like Shin said, we will take Coda's life first. With him and Kira iut of the picture. They absolutely stand no chance against us. Their kingdom will fall just like all the others." He let out a manical laugh at the thought of just killing more of the royals. It brought him pleasure to know that whatevee he wants he can have or take when wanted.

Darkblade: The sky was lighter now, and he had been wise to at least get some rest. It would be quite a busy day ahead of them, even if the foe capitulated immediately. Securing prisoners, the supplies and the keep itself, then moving a garrison force inside and their guest. When she was awake he would decide what to do with her, not point letting the Ushia know she was in Eire hands right away. Not when he could at least learn what was the best move for him to make, and perhaps learn if there was truth behind the rumor of her eyes. It would be a useful card to have if they were true, most likely though she’d play the mundane role of bargaining an accord with Ushia. But it was something to consider, not that he would need them to win the war. One just didn’t let the opportunity to gain a free advantage over a foe slip by, and those eyes could be useful if they looked to Eire as a friend.
It didn’t take him long to prepare himself for the battle ahead of him, and more convenient that none were there to watch. Castle life was much more irksome, with all the serving people, dunno why any Eireling would wish to be one either. Though it paid well according to the treasury, too well apparently, not like he couldn’t live without them either. Though perhaps it would be a bit of a bother to try and get them all out doing more gainful tasks, especially with a war on the horizon. He could easily make do with a squire for the odd jobs he didn’t have time himself for, not that he’d taken a squire as he found he was required more as Warden than Knight since Father’s death. Well maybe after the conflict he’d take one or two, maybe one of Darion’s to show that lesser house his gratitude with their service. Leaving the tent he noted Darion was with Crestwater, likely to make sure for himself the kid was where they had put him. Probably should’ve ordered the pair of them rest, but Darion wouldn’t listen, and young knights were all very irritating about sticking to their duties.
“I see you got a volunteer to keep you company, and down hearted you didn’t seek to invite oneself to the get together.”
He was smirking, as he watch the young knight bluster a bit without actually making a single word to tell tale of the obvious. It wasn’t like there was a problem, and Oddler doubted he’d have been good company with the thoughts in his head on what to do next bubbling around.
“He’s only pulling your chain, The first knight of Eire just can’t help himself when he sees a jest to make. All is ready M’lord Warden, should we give the kinglings the opportunity to make up some terms for their surrender?”
Well that was typical, Darion starts off with a sense of familiar warmth and devolves into formal address within the same breath. Really should get some sort of decree that knights are exempt from formal modes of address, just to get the fellow to speak to him normally. That and it would rob Crestwater of the Sers and M’lords as well, you’d think they were kinglings with the way they got on. Well most noble houses did that too, and the other knights, he was treated like a king in most respects bar name of late. Probably his own fault for keeping the post of First Knight when he became Warden, thus basically holding the final say in both politics and military. Basically all the nominal power Eire had, but then he felt it was wise to have that power with Axle running around like a headless chicken for someone to kneel to him. Not to mention it did save him selecting a sucessor, Darion might be decent enough but the great houses would be incensed. Only getting some base born commoner to take the post would annoy them more, and he was half tempted to do that just to spite them.
“I don’t think so, I rather this victory to be secured before our enemy knows they have been attacked. So we’ll start with the Luin, and see just how badly they want to hold out knowing how prepared we are to slay them to the last.”
Darion wasn’t a fan of that method, but then neither of Oswel. They’d argued about that long before they set out, but in the end neither of them could come up with a better solution to claiming victory without any mischance of being found out by the Kinglings. During the Celtchar rebellion, the Luin were developed by the alchemists. They were the size of spears, and one could use them as such in a pinch. They were however made to be fired from ballista, through lore even the rather bookish Oswel found hard to fully understand the tip was forged to be able to burn and yet was metal. Flaming arrows of that size aren’t all the bad though, and when the Celtchar first used it none were impressed. That was till the smoke got to them, for the Luin’s purpose was to kill as many people as possible with but a single cast. Three houses fell to the Luins before the Celtchar were defeated, the Warden of that time called them the Luin of Celtchar and had their method of construction wrung from the alchemist’s of that now defunct house. They had served Eire a few times since then, with the Luin Knight being the worst for it before his second killed him to spare an Kingling village from the weapon. But if a single Luin would force the garrison to surrender, he would throw it himself.
“We’ve already had the argument, and we both agree that they are an awful weapon. But I cannot have our attack known to Axle, not with Eire still mobilising to defend herself should he gamble on crossing the Fjords. I shall fire it myself, no other should sully their hands over this.”
Darion shook his head, Crestwater looking rather bemused. Typical of the young, so unlearned in Lore. True even Darion needed a refresher on the matter, Oddler doubted that many but the lore keepers and alchemists even remembered the Luin as anything more than a fable. Likely believing them to be little more than the warspear of the Celtchar household, or some other legendary myth that had nothing to do with their dreadful reality.
“We also both agreed to have them forged M’lord, so I shall be there to send them off. You can’t take all the blame, for neither of us could find a better way. I will take heart that they are to be used on a foe of Eire, one who would see us kneel. A shame he won’t be there to choke, when we send our reply.”
Oddler took heart himself in that, as he rather not have that be a breaking point in his kinship with his Second. But it was true, he had used Darion in an attempt to argue with himself about the use of the Luin. Darion was good for that, he was liable to take the side Oswel wanted him to take and thus able to explain everything to the man and see what came back. If Darion couldn’t find an answer that he himself couldn’t find it was likely the side Oswel had taken as his own was going to end up being their battle plan. He suspected Darion knew this was the case, but he wasn’t going to shame the man’s intellect by revealing it. Being too good a friend to squander cause one of them spent a decade of their life with scrolls.
“Then I suppose we’ll have to leave you behind Ser Crestwater, one day you might be glad not to have to be active in this particular battle. I’ll be sure to find one with much honor for you to fight soon enough, Axle’s liable to throw away a few thousand men to avenge what we do today. A bit foolish, but I’m sure we’ll find some way to enjoy killing them anyway.”
His laugh was a bit self mocking as he and Darion left the young knight with his guard duty, indeed this sort of act was not the sort for a young knight to be party to. Not with all the illusions of self righteous invincibility still etched upon their joy filled hearts, one day perhaps they’ll be worn down to the point they’ll accept any victory. But today, no, today he was a child playing at knight still and could only accept victory brought about by steel and valor. Lord Oddler though had never had such illusions, it might have been nice to be that way, but that would not help Eire with Kinglings seeking to bend their knees.
“Now my grey wolf, let’s see the Luin on it’s way.”
